  48. When the M1230XA first came out, it came with SetXA, which just added
  49. the memory without a warm reboot (thus leaving all sytem software
  50. resident in chip memory).  Then later AutoXA came out which does a 
  51. warm reboot when configuring memory, thus freeing up chip ram. I've
  52. used my M1230XA with 16 megs of 60ns ram for about 2-3 years, and
  53. have never run into any accellorator-related problems.  Works 100%.
  54. There's no auto-config, so a quick warm reboot on initial power up
  55. is needed.
